On behalf of the organizing committee of Asian Conference on Tumor Ablation (ACTA), the Taiwan Academy of Tumor Ablation (TATA), and Taiwan Society of Interventional Radiology (TSIR) and Taiwan Academy of Interventional Medicine (TAIM). I would like to invite you to join the 11th ACTA in Taipei, Taiwan (Oct 25-27, 2025).
With the theme of “Back to the Beginning”, an intensive series of lectures will be held in this three-day event, focusing on the arena of hepatobiliary pancreatic, urological, thoracic, gynecologic, musculoskeletal, thyroid and head & neck regions. Current evidence on combined therapies (targeted therapy, immunotherapy, embolization and tumor ablation), novel image-guidance and navigation, artificial intelligence, multidisciplinary guidelines, debates on comparison between different modalities and up-to-date development in robotic guidance will be presented. On Oct 24, 2025, a pre-conference workshop will be held. Hands-on practice in radiofrequency ablation, microwave, cryoablation, irreversible electroporation, focused ultrasound and various guiding techniques including cutting-edge CT/MRI and ultrasound will be carried out. This will be a great opportunity for interventional oncology colleagues to exchange experience and collaborate.

On behalf of the Taiwan Academy of Tumor Ablation (TATA), it is my great pleasure and honor to welcome you to the “11th Asian Conference on Tumor Ablation (ACTA)”, taking place from October 25th to 27th , 2025 at the elegant “Grand Hotel” in Taipei, Taiwan.
This year's ACTA meeting brings together leading experts from around the world in the field of tumor ablation. The program will highlight the “latest advancements in ablation technologies and methods, including “novel devices, innovative treatment strategies, and combined therapies. In addition, we will explore ‘ablation approaches for both hepatic and extrahepatic tumors’, offering a comprehensive view of current practices and future directions.

Dear colleagues and distinguished guests,
It is a great honor and privilege for the Taiwan Society of Interventional Radiology (TSIR) to co-host ACTA x TSIR 2025, a landmark event that brings together leading minds in interventional radiology from across Asia and beyond.
Under the theme “Innovate, Integrate, Inspire: The Spirit of Collaboration in IR,” the TSIR 2025 annual conference highlights the driving forces that are shaping the future of our specialty—continuous innovation, multidisciplinary integration, and the mutual inspiration we gain from working and learning together.
This year's program reflects these values through a diverse range of cutting-edge topics, including AVM management, musculoskeletal interventions, and advances in oncologic therapies. We are also proud to showcase the growing collaborations between TSIR and our counterparts in Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, Hong Kong and other countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
